What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a medical treatment that has evolved for thousands of years in China and has become more accepted by Western medicine every year. Practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese medicine have use non-invasive treatments and have helped millions of people to become well, get out of pain, and stay well. Acupuncture promotes natural healing in the body and enhances your own body's ability to fight disease and become well. Acupuncture improves the overall function and immunity of the body. It is safe, painless, and an effective way to treat a wide variety of medical conditions.
What does an acupuncturist do?
During your first treatment, questions are asked regarding health, symptoms, and your lifestyle. The practitioner will provide a standard medical exam as well as an Eastern medicine exam to include pulses and tongue diagnosis.
